24 Frames

In this experimental film project, filmmaker Abbas Kiarostami builds a collection of 24 short films, each running about four and a half minutes. Inspired by still images, including paintings and photographs, the work reflects on what might exist beyond a single frozen frame. Created during the last three years of Kiarostami’s life, it brings motion and time to images that begin in stillness.
