After a mass suicide involving members of a cult in the Canary Islands, Gabriel learns that his younger sister, Cordelia, was among the followers. He has not seen her for years, but the news pulls him toward the place where it happened. Determined to understand the circumstances surrounding her death, Gabriel travels to the islands to uncover what led Cordelia into the cult and what really took place.
