On her birthday, Sophie makes a wish that brings an unexpected surprise: Drake, a wacky Hollywood actor, magically appears in her small Midwestern town. As she tries to keep things under control and help him blend in until she can find a way to send him home, Drake has his own idea of how to use the situation.
