After his mother dies of an overdose, seventeen-year-old Joshua “J” is taken in by his extended family. He soon finds himself inside a volatile criminal clan ruled by his scheming grandmother, where loyalty and survival are inseparable. As J is drawn deeper into their way of life, a detective steps in believing the boy may still have a chance to escape it.
