April and the Extraordinary World

In 1941, France is still trapped in the nineteenth century, a world powered by steam and ruled by Napoleon V. As scientists disappear under mysterious circumstances, Avril, a teenage girl whose own parents are among the missing, sets out to find them. Her search unfolds in a country shaped by outdated technology, secrecy, and a future that never arrived.
