Bad Day at Black Rock

After World War II, one-armed war veteran John J. Macreedy steps off a train in the tiny California desert town of Black Rock. His arrival unsettles the sleepy community, whose residents meet him with suspicion and open hostility. As Macreedy searches for answers, he begins to uncover a web of lies, secrecy, and murder that some in town are determined to protect by any means necessary.
