Believer

A struggling young writer is covering a story about a notorious cult leader and mass murderer when she is brutally attacked and pulled into the center of it herself. The man is known for the inexplicable hold he has over his followers, and the aftermath leaves her family unsettled. As she claims to have no memory of what happened, those closest to her begin to question her motives.
