After a childhood illness leaves her unable to see, hear, or speak, a young woman grows up cut off from the world around her and prone to violent outbursts. Her life begins to change when an eccentric tutor enters it, challenging the limits that have defined her and offering a new way forward through patience, discipline, and an uncommon understanding.
