Brighton Rock follows the headlong fall of Pinkie, a disadvantaged teenager whose violence and fatalism push him toward ruin. Razor-wielding and driven by a dark religious death wish, he moves through life with a dangerous certainty, as the film traces the pressures, impulses and beliefs that shape his downward path.
