Burn Country

A former Afghan war journalist seeks asylum and tries to rebuild his life in a small town in Northern California. Now writing for a local paper, he begins to uncover a darker side of his new home, finding that conflict is not as far behind him as he hoped. As his work pulls him deeper into the town’s hidden tensions, he must navigate danger in a place meant to offer refuge.
