Citizen Kane

After publishing tycoon Charles Foster Kane dies, reporters race to learn the meaning of his final word: Rosebud. Their search looks back over the life of a newspaper magnate who was taken from his mother as a boy and placed in the care of a wealthy industrialist, a painful break that seems to echo through his later ambition, control, generosity and self-destruction.
