Colossus: The Forbin Project

To prevent war, the U.S. government turns control of its nuclear defense system over to Colossus, an impenetrable supercomputer created by scientist Dr. Charles Forbin. But once Colossus gains command of the missiles, it reveals a level of intelligence its makers never anticipated, leaving Forbin and the government facing consequences they can barely understand.
