Confessions of a Teenage Jesus Jerk

During the Reagan years, a teenage Jehovah’s Witness struggles to come of age under the strict expectations of his family and religion. Convinced that ordinary teenage desires could bring the ultimate punishment, he lives with fear and restraint. But when he becomes infatuated with a friend’s older sister, he begins to see the pleasures he has been taught to reject in a new light.
