Alex, the son of an Algerian gang leader in Marseilles, leaves the city for the French Foreign Legion after the Corsican Mafia puts a hit on him. Four years later, he deserts and returns home, hoping to reunite with Katia, his former girlfriend. But Marseilles is no longer the place he left behind, and shifting loyalties pull him back into conflict.
