Deus

A mysterious black sphere is discovered in orbit around Mars, and the Achilles is sent to investigate. After eight months in hibernation, its exhausted six-person crew wakes to find the object waiting in silence. Then the Sphere begins transmitting a single word, repeated in every Earth language ever known: Deus.
