Dheepan

Dheepan, a Sri Lankan Tamil warrior, flees the civil war with two other war-torn strangers who pose as his family in order to reach France. Hoping to start over, they settle in a troubled suburb outside Paris, where Dheepan finds work as a caretaker. As they try to survive in an unfamiliar new life, the violence and trauma they escaped begin to resurface.
