Elite Squad

In 1997 Rio de Janeiro, Captain Nascimento of BOPE, the Special Police Operations Battalion, is under pressure as the city prepares for the Pope’s visit. With the pontiff set to stay near a dangerous slum, Nascimento is assigned to confront drug dealers and criminals who could pose a threat, while also trying to find a suitable replacement for his own position.
