Ethan is a sullen high-school student who defines himself by the things he hates and the angst he shares with his band mates. When he falls for Trinity, a relentlessly optimistic Christian girl, their connection unsettles both sides of their worlds: his moody friends resent the change in him, while her evangelistic brethren struggle with the match.
