Stand-up comedian Max Bernal is trying to keep his career moving while living with his father, Stan, and co-parenting his autistic son, Ezra, with his ex-wife. As family tensions and responsibilities mount, Max is pushed to face difficult choices about Ezra’s future. A cross-country road trip with his son becomes a turning point for both of them.
