A corrupt, bigoted policeman struggling with drug addiction and a serious mental disorder sets his sights on a promotion, believing it could help him win back his wife and daughter. As he tries to manipulate colleagues and circumstances to get ahead, hallucinations and inner demons blur his grip on reality, turning his ambition into a dangerous battle with himself.
