Olympic wrestling champion brothers Mark Schultz and Dave Schultz join Team Foxcatcher, a training program backed and led by eccentric multimillionaire John E. du Pont. As they prepare for the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul, South Korea, the promise of elite support gives way to growing tension, as du Pont’s self-destructive behavior begins to threaten the team and the brothers drawn into his world.
