Gallipoli

Two Australian sprinters are drawn from the promise of athletic ambition into the demands of World War I when they are sent to fight in the Gallipoli campaign in Turkey, then part of the Ottoman Empire. Far from the world of racing, they confront the harsh conditions, fear, and violence of battle as the brutal realities of war replace the discipline and hope that once defined them.
