Girl Flu

Twelve-year-old Bird is smart, level-headed, and not ready for the changes coming her way. During the worst week of her life, she gets her first period on the last day of school in front of her entire class, then has to navigate the fallout with her immature, free-spirited stoner mom. As Bird is pushed toward growing up, she also faces being left behind by the one person she still needs most.
