Don Koch takes on the renovation of a rundown mansion, hoping to turn it into a home for his growing family. But the house carries a sordid history that is not easily left behind. As Don works to repair the place, the project becomes less like a fresh start and more like a confrontation with something built into the walls, as the mansion makes it clear it has plans of its own.
