Guava Island

On Guava Island, Deni Maroon works the docks while holding on to his life as a musician. Determined to give the island’s oppressed people a brief taste of freedom, he sets out to organize a music festival that can lift their spirits, even if only for one day. But his plans put him at odds with the local factory owner, whose interests depend on keeping things as they are.
