In this musical adaptation of Michael John LaChiusa’s stage work, inspired by Arthur Schnitzler’s La Ronde, ten lost souls move through a chain of intimate encounters. As they slip in and out of one another’s arms, the film traces the shifting pull of desire, connection and loneliness, exploring love in all its bittersweet uncertainty.
