When Madam Queen, the powerful woman behind Harlem’s operation, is arrested, Ellsworth “Bumpy” Johnson steps in to take control. But his position is quickly threatened by Dutch Schultz, a merciless mobster determined to push into the business and claim the neighborhood’s profits.
