How I Learned to Fly

After their parents suddenly and mysteriously leave, two African-American teenage brothers are forced to face life on their own. Daniel, the older brother, carries the weight of the violence they endured from their father and becomes determined to protect what remains of their family. As the brothers struggle to survive, their abandonment gives way to moments of beauty, meaning, and enduring love.
