During Brazil’s military dictatorship in 1971, a woman married to a former politician sees her family’s life upended by a violent and arbitrary act. Forced into uncertainty, she must reinvent herself and find a new path forward, taking on the responsibility of protecting her family and reshaping their future in a time defined by fear and repression.
