An aspiring musician struggling with schizophrenia falls for a mysterious woman who seems to be the woman of his dreams, though she may exist only in his mind. When she suddenly vanishes, he sets off on a cross-country journey across Australia to find her, forcing his long-suffering brother to chase after him and try to bring him back safely.
