I Was a Stranger

A Syrian doctor and her daughter flee Aleppo, setting in motion a chain of events that draws five strangers into the same perilous night. As their paths collide, a smuggler, a soldier, a poet, and a coast guard captain are caught in a crisis where survival is uncertain and each person is forced to confront questions of courage, choice, and humanity.
