William is a farmer with a grim sideline: he makes dead bodies disappear for the rough men who bring them to his door. His daughter Gloria has grown used to the corpses arriving at their isolated home, even believing some spirits still linger there. When three bodies are delivered and one young woman is still alive, William faces a dangerous choice, knowing that letting her go could bring a gang after him and Gloria.
