In the Heart of the Sea

In the winter of 1820, the New England whaling ship Essex sails into a terrifying encounter that no one aboard could have imagined. Far from home, the vessel is attacked by a whale of enormous size and seemingly deliberate fury, leaving its crew facing the consequences of an ordeal that would later help inspire the classic novel Moby-Dick.
