Some years in the future, a struggling cattle farm becomes the testing ground for a couple’s experiments in biotechnology. As the woman begins to uncover the unsettling consequences of her husband’s animal breeding technology, their isolated life is disturbed by a troubling presence on the property. What began as an attempt to survive through innovation grows increasingly strange and threatening.
