A volatile young married couple leaves Los Angeles for Vermont, hoping that a change of place can do what their relationship has not been able to do on its own. Far from the life they know, they try to treat distance, quiet, and a new setting as a possible fix for their troubled marriage, only to face the same tensions that pushed them to move in the first place.
