After her car breaks down in the back country of Oregon, a young woman is left stranded far from help. Her search for safety brings her under the control of a paranoid conspiracy theorist who is convinced she is a government agent. Trapped in a situation shaped by suspicion and fear, she must navigate the threat posed by a man who sees her as part of the very plot he believes is closing in.
