Ballerina

In 1879, a young orphan in rural Brittany longs to become a ballerina. Determined to pursue her dream, she runs away to Paris, where the world of dance feels both dazzling and out of reach. By passing herself off as someone else, she gains a place as a pupil at the Grand Opera house and takes her first steps toward the life she has imagined.
