Martin Riggs and Roger Murtaugh take on a dangerous case inside familiar territory when they pursue a former LAPD officer turned criminal. Using his understanding of police procedures and department policies, he steals confiscated guns and ammunition and sells them to local street gangs, forcing the detectives to confront a threat built on insider knowledge.
