A bohemian artist leaves London for Italy with his estranged son to deal with a house they have inherited from the woman who was his wife and the young man’s mother. Their plan is to sell the property, but the trip brings them together after a long distance between them, turning a practical family matter into a reckoning with loss, memory, and their strained relationship.
