Diana is pregnant and struggling to care for her young son, who has developmental problems. Near her breaking point, she accepts help from a caregiver from the Philippines. When the woman’s presence seems to bring sudden improvements in the boy, Diana’s relief turns to suspicion, and she begins to fear that something darker, possibly involving voodoo, is being used against her.
