Manhattan Undying

A vampire turns to an artist with a deeply personal request: to paint her portrait. For someone who has never been able to see her own image, the work offers a chance to understand her likeness for the first time. As the artist takes on the commission, the portrait becomes more than a simple assignment, drawing together an immortal subject and the person asked to show her what she cannot see.
