An unprofessional documentary crew trails five amateur runners as they prepare for the Devil’s Canyon Marathon, an eccentric desert race with a reputation as offbeat as its competitors. Behind the event is Ed Clap, a desperate shoe store owner determined to make the marathon’s fifteenth year stand out, even if that means pulling every possible stunt to keep it alive.
