Massacre in Rome

In Nazi-occupied Rome in March 1944, a partisan bomb attack kills 33 German soldiers and brings a brutal response from the occupying authorities. Ordered to make an example of the city, SS Lieutenant Colonel Herbert Kappler is tasked with executing ten Italians for every German killed, setting in motion a grim act of retaliation against Italian nationals.
