Milada

Milada tells the story of Milada Horakova, a democratic Czech politician whose convictions put her in danger under two oppressive regimes. Arrested and tried by the Nazis during World War II, she continues her political opposition after the war. When the Communist government takes power in Czechoslovakia, her refusal to stop speaking out or leave the country leads to a treason trial built on fabricated charges.
