Near the end of a three-year contract on the Moon, astronaut Sam Bell is counting the days until he can return to Earth. Working alone at a lunar facility with only the computer assistant GERTY for company, he sends vital resource parcels back home. But with just weeks left in isolation, an unexpected accident triggers unsettling events that make his final days far less routine.
