Struggling 25-year-old comedian Emily Martin returns to her college town of Austin, Texas, after a loved one falls ill and an unexpected tragedy pulls her back into a life she left behind. With nowhere simple to land, she stays with her ex-boyfriend and his new girlfriend, forcing her to face old feelings, unresolved history, and the past she has tried to avoid.
