Murder in the First

An eager, idealistic young public defender is assigned to represent an Alcatraz inmate charged with murdering a fellow prisoner. Inexperienced but determined, the attorney takes on a difficult case shaped by harsh extenuating circumstances: his client had spent more than three years in solitary confinement before the killing.
