National Lampoon's Senior Trip

A scheming senator sees a chance to embarrass a political rival when a group of misfit, slacker teens from Ohio lands in the national spotlight. Stuck in detention, the students write a blunt letter to the President about what is wrong with the education system. When the President likes what they have to say, the unlikely group is invited to Washington for a gathering on educational failure.
