After Michael’s suicide, the two women closest to him are left to face the loss in very different ways. His girlfriend and his mother both loved him deeply, and each sees the other as responsible for what happened. Bound together by grief, anger, and blame, they are pulled into an increasingly troubled relationship shaped by mourning and resentment.
