After a high school lab experiment goes horribly wrong, Mordecai and Rigby face a threat that reaches far beyond their own lives. To save the universe, the friends must go back in time and confront an evil volleyball coach. As the danger grows, their mission also puts their friendship on the line, forcing them to fight for both the future and each other.
